Privacy Policy

Information we collect

When you request a quote, repair visit or garage door service, we may collect your name, suburb, postcode, email address, phone number, connection to the property, property address, preferred contact method and the information you provide about your garage door or project. When an enquiry follows a campaign or advertisement, we may also record the first landing page, referring page, campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers attached to the visit.

How we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond to you, understand the work requested, prepare a quote or visit, provide garage door services, maintain business records and protect the website from misuse.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without permission.

Service providers

Information may be processed by trusted providers that support our website, secure data storage and customer-enquiry management. ServiceM8 may receive enquiry details when our customer-management connection is active. These providers may only use the information to deliver services to us or as required by law.

Website measurement

This website uses Google Analytics Consent Mode to measure visits and general actions such as successful quote requests, form progress, phone link clicks and visits to our Google reviews. We do not send the name, email address, phone number, postcode, property connection, property address or message you enter in the quote form to Google Analytics, Google Ads or Meta.

Analytics and advertising storage are denied by default. In that limited mode, Google may receive measurements without cookies so we can count page views and enquiry events. Selecting “Allow analytics and ads” enables analytics and advertising cookies, including Google Ads and the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), so we can measure which ads lead to enquiries and show our ads to people who have visited the site. Selecting “Keep limited” leaves this storage denied and the Meta Pixel is not loaded. Your choice is saved in your browser; clear this site’s data in your browser to choose again.

Enquiry source and advertising attribution

Campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers may be kept with an enquiry so we can understand which service page or campaign produced the request, avoid counting the same enquiry twice and assess advertising using the resulting lead rather than unrelated browsing activity. This information is used for business measurement and is not sold.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, service, business records or applicable legal requirements.

To stop automated spam, each quote request records a one-way scrambled code derived from your internet connection address, not the address itself. It is used only to limit repeat submissions and is deleted within a day.

Access, correction and questions

You can ask about the personal information we hold about you or request a correction by calling 0422 772 640. We may need to confirm your identity before providing or changing personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our website, business processes or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with its updated date.
